Malta : Gun Emplacement - Popeye Village
Malta was one of the most heavily bombed countries in the entire of WWII. Also, it held great tactical advantages, as its location meant it could control the entire shipping in the med. This meant it was also one of the most heavily fortified islands.
There were numerous defences built around this island, including this lookout post / gun post on the cliff over looking 'Popeye Village', the location for the film.
